Very smooth but this Amarone has a stronger raisin note than most,in my opinion. This could be a byproduct of aging the grapes known as boytrytis which provides this fruitier and more pungent note. However the mouth feel is silky and the taste is spectacular. ABV is ~16%

Nice color of mix of deep purple and thick blood. Nose is saturated and intense. Nose of sweet oak, aldehyde, dried strawberry, a bit leafy and crayon, and a touch of spice. Taste is thick with nice complex sweetness on the rim of the tongue, dried strawberry and oak, black cherry, black pepper, and a tongue ch of peel. Aftertaste is long with aforementioned taste and right strength of tannins. A true lily beautiful bottle makes you sip after sip.
