Acidic and drab with a nice richness. — a month ago
With scallops, octopus, crab, and later short ribs at an Italian restaurant. The glue has subsided, not rubbery, some fruit is coming out. But not special.
21 minutes later: The candied bacon came out, and it compliments the short rib very well. — 5 months ago
Incredible Barbera. — 9 months ago
continuing in the vein of unusual Italian wines, we thoroughly enjoyed this 10 yr old Teroldego from Tuscany of all places: pouring a deep rich ruby, partially opaque with copious quantities of red fruit on the nose, some dark berried fruit as well, licorice, dirt & soil, peppery goodness some dried herbs and so on. complex and engaging, med bodied on palate, more fruit & spice, fleshy mild tannins and smooth finish - other than color, not showing its age. — a month ago
05/2025. Nice Barbera. Flavor and finish. Sits well on the palate. Enjoyed. 14% alc.
