Tried to find a Verdejo from Spain but the store was out and had to settle with this. Apparently Mollydooker doesn't make anything less than 15%abv. WTF?!!! I couldn't imagine how verdelho could be overblown, but I guess I just experienced it. Yowza!

Oct 15th, 2014Can really taste the alcohol. Taste will grow on you. Prob good with a good piece of fresh fish. First experience with Verdelho grape.

Pear, citrus, notes of anise. Medium bodied. Interesting and a bit complex, but not my cup of tea.
