Clos de Tart Grand Cru Pinot Noir

Magnificent Magnum !!

So pure and clean with multiple layers that peeled back differently in the glass as it warmed up. Plum, black cherry, black tea. Lonnnng finish. This absolutely needed 45 min decant to open, strange given the age.

Still primary but great intense fruit. Still quite tight but certainly classy.

This was pretty shut down. Not compromised in any way just in a dumb phase IMO. Pure fruit but no oomph and a tight short finish.

Tight but all the pieces in the right place.

Fantastic moment, first important red wine drunk in the new house. I will try not to forget this style of wines since by now i will dive inthe oz world.

A superb bottle of "Clos de Tart" that is killer now but has years ahead of it.

A great vintage and special to me as it is my anniversary year. Nonetheless while @Bill Bender @Joe Lucca @Mike R and @David L had the greatest of intentions this bottle had other plans. I’ll reserve a score as I believe it was an “off” bottle.
