At nine years this is starting to show its potential, but really only after a good long decant.
Very ripe and strong for Gattinara. Save for the rocky minerality (and lower alcohol), I could have mistaken this for Barbaresco.

Great Gattinara, Batman! Beau-tee-ful Nebbiolo. Hard to distinguish from a very good Barbaresco aside from slightly softer tannins. The perfume alone is worth the price of admission.
