Nicely aged Nebbiolo. Nose a combination of lifted fresh and dried roses, strawberry, hint of caramel, earthy mushroom compost. Slightly dusty. On the palate a nice, silky texture without rough tannic edges and a good dose of acidity. Strawberry, raspberry, sour cherry. Decent length. A nice pairing with homemade carbonara. — 3 months ago
Killer. Wow. More soon but awesome cherry infused with spice on the velvety and super long finish. Nose is chestnut, cherries and roses. Very fragrant. Palate is juicy and ripe but with those massive 18 tannins and mineral underpinning. Also showing some heat after air. — 2 months ago
What a beauty!
Tart cherry, a touch of cinnamon, wilted flowers, a saline, rocky note and touch of orange peel. A hint of leather. Aetheric & enticing. And evolving.
On the palate this is more austere than in the nose. Zippy cherry acidity, present yet super finely grained tannins, the fruit only in the background. So food friendly. And intriguing. And delicious.
I think this is in the perfect drinking spot right now. Delish! — 3 months ago

At Moore Brothers tasting of Piemonte with Fung and Mary 1/25/25. Unusual blend with fruit from high up by the foothills of Alps but microclimate warm enough for palm trees. A rather rich and round texture and wouldn’t have guessed Nebbiolo. — 3 months ago

Gorgeous aromas of tart cherry, sour cherry, smoke, leather and some dead leaves. My goodness the roses are so alive. Stunning. Juicy and complex with gorgeous purity and medium bodied. That sweet, sweet Nebbiolo fruit. So silky and juicy. Amazing tannins. Brilliant. — 15 days ago
