Spätlese trocken is so interesting. This wine has a mouthwatering acidity and tons of bright, underripe tropical fruit (pineapple) and green apple notes. Slight whiff of flint on the nose but not stinky. Missing a bit of the mineral/slate of Mosel (don’t know what you’ve got til it’s not there…) but strangely has a bit of a tannic finish which helps with structure. @ noreetuh and delightful with Hawaiian food. — 16 days ago

Tannins have softened but still lend a nice structure, tasted angular rather than round. Dark red fruit, blackberries, relatively fresh. Graphite and a good mix of spices, cinnamon stick. Medium finish. @ La Tete d’Or — 17 days ago
