Very interesting wine particularly with Chinese food. Complex and aromatic nose: orange peel, bay leaf, dank Chinese dried goods, pickled bamboo shoots.
Low acid on the palate, taste and weight more similar to orange wine than white. — 25 days ago
Apparently the winemaker was shooting for a Burgundian style but I saw little resemblance. Weightier than Burgundy without polish on the finish or balance with minerality. A relatively simple red fruit wine, Sunmaid raisins. Lots of acetone on the nose that took a while to blow off. — 25 days ago
