Oddly, a wine with Asian flavors. Strong baijiu aroma on the noise - wild. Bamboo shoot and tofu skin funk, hint of loquat syrup. A bit of savory cinnamon. Would be great with braised pork. — 8 days ago

Ripe pineapple, golden straw color, has some middle weight tannins but light on the finish. Green apple, pomelo pith, flint, mineral, tropical fruit. Great wine for a meal at the Arden Waikiki. — 13 days ago

Beautiful translucent ruby red in the glass. So aromatic and heavily perfumed - I thought I was smelling the lady next to me but no, it’s the wine. White gardenia, violets. Not much fruit at all. Tannins are quite grippy for pinot noir, surprising. Finish is short-ish, bummer. The taste is very whelming but the aroma goes on forever and ever… and finally I smell that freshly rained-upon forest floor!! At the very bottom of the glass… pee-like ammonia. Not the best ending to a pretty glass. — 8 days ago
