Reserva Lisboa Red Blend

This wine is on the thicker side of medium bodied, with minimal oak and complex mineral tanning structure. The flavor is rich chocolate, dark currant, with a hint of strawberries.

It's an interesting wine.... certainly, not my favorite, but still, solid. There's a bit of a funny aftertaste for my palette. That being said, it's still drinkable.

Drank with bouef bourgingnon. Not bad!

Dry at first then semisweet like a dollop of a preservative was thrown in. Not particularly remarkable but not bad.

Dry and jammy; not loving it, but it's open

Fruity, piney, a little peppery. Easy to drink.

Very interest wine. Deep red color gives the impression of a bid bold red coming but that's not the case. Very dry and not bold, but opens nicely. Young but should age well. Never heard of 2 of the grapes in the blend but glad I tried it anyway. Glad I bought a few bottles to age.

Smooth and jammy.
