Burnt paper. 5% Sangioveseyyy. Volcanic soils? Small yield

Oct 15th, 2018Red fruit and dirt road. I've bought the Corvina from Monte Del Fra a number of times, but this is my first time with their Bardolina blend. The Corvina is still very evident here, but I find this one a little less fun with some of the edges evened out with the other varietals included. It's a little less bright as a result. This one is very short though still quite nice with crusty bread.

Rustic. Bright cherry and berry notes, with mild underbrush, very enjoyable. Balanced w solid acidity and tannins.
