Montevertine
Toscana Super Tuscan Blend
Had November 2011.
Garnet. Chianti like nose( but a good Chianti), fruit, earthy, cola and iron. Velvety in the palate, letting the flavours linger for very long time. You must admit that it is Burgundy like somehow. It has that easily drinkibility that a Pinot noir normally has and that not many Italian wines have. Persistent, but not overly complicated.

Stunningly good. Still some youthful red fruit in there, along with all the leather and scrub brush you could ask for. Soft and round at this point, and all the better for it.
