A whole new kind of concentrated and complex fruit. Decanted for 1.5hrs which helped it but might have needed more time. Probably needs a few more years for the tannins to really integrate and mellow out. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. A beauty!

So “California” compared other Luc creations but... WOW! Delicious fruit, currants, graphite, and dry field grass. Still young but the tannins are fairly light. I think another 3-5 will be perfect.

1 person found it helpfulNov 19th, 2017Quick decanter really brought out the fruit and this wine continues to show multiple layers of flavors: dark and red fruit, some cooking herbs as well as mocha and tobacco. Tannins are really mellowing out and it’s smooth drinking from here.
