Mosquita Muerta
Perro Callejero Blend de Malbec
Pretty color of ruby with a wide reddish rim.
Strong nose of black fruits with wood and chocolate notes.
Full-bodied with medium plus acidity and long legs.
Dry on the palate with cooked cherries, black plums, dried fruits, vegetables, bitter herbs, light earth and peppercorn.
Nice length on the finish with fine grained tannins, tangy raspberries and bitter vegetables.
This 6 year old Malbec from Argentina is still drinking nicely and a good food wine.
Complex and elegant, but a little bitter for me.
I had this vintage 3 years ago and it was not as bitter, although it is more complex now.
Good right out of the bottle and easy drinking.
100% Malbec grapes were aged in French oak barrels and concrete vats.
14.5% alcohol by volume.

Strong nose of black plums, black currants, coffee, oak, cloves, earth, vanilla, licorice, spices, chocolates, light bone fire smoke, herbs and black pepper.
Full bodied with medium acidity and nice legs.
Dry and very fruity on the palate with blackberries, black plums, cooked cherries, oak, vanilla, black pepper, chocolates, coffee, licorice, spices, light tobacco and earth.
Medium finish with soft tannins and tangy cherries.
This is a nice everyday wine from Mendoza, Argentina. Easy drinking and spicy, with a nice mouthfeel.
Good right out of the bottle and better with airtime. I gave it a few hours in a decanter to open up and show some complexity.
A nice porch wine that I paired with cheeses and crackers.
