Billi Billi Grampians Shiraz

Would not have guessed Shiraz. Tasted way more subtle/older

Nicely developed and hanging on well for a 5-year old, $11 bottle. Would buy again!

Big (cool climate) fruit + herbs and spice make this a nice ($10) Aussie workhorse, screwtop helps there too. Likely to get another.

This snuck to France in the suitcase as it was only 1/2 gone on departure. Good stuff for $10. Definitely need to be drinking more from the Grampians.

Much better, even day 2. Black cherries, peppery spice. No sign of obvious age.

Great value wine. Spicy to the nose with mild liquorice (though opens up and gets bigger). Not too much tanic, only a/c content 13.5%, but certainly no lightweight.

Really drinkable, accessible - full flavor that opens up relatively quickly; tremendous value and goes great with a fine roast dinner or maybe a robust cassoulet

Fruity, sun-drenched nose with no alcohol burn. This quality and restraint is matched on the palette of dense fruit and light black pepper spice. Superb value at the price.
