Tropical, nice minerality, a bit creamy. First time having an SB from this region, and it’s definitely not as grassy as the Marlborough region #simplywinenorthville

Bright, almost clear colour. Grass and green vegetable nose with expected citrus as well. Unripe pear and pithy citrus dominates with relatively low acidity and a long, long, long finish that dries out again with more vegetal and cut grass tones. A different take on NZ SB. Not particularly challenging but certainly a different approach.

Nov 17th, 20172016. Less grassy than most NZ sauv blanc. But not overly tropical. Nice find for the category.
