On the nose: beautiful notes of dark berries, planting soil, worn leather, dark chocolate, stewed meat. Taste: energetic, balanced, soft wine with red cherry/plum, clove, orange peel, spice, green bell pepper, and a smoked graphite medium plus finish. YUM! This wine had excellent dark fruit and tannins that maintain some grip and structure. You can tell this is mountain fruit.

Drank over 3 nights with argon preservation in the fridge.

Paired very well with manchego and also with chili.
