Boysenberry Greek yoghurt, lite bits of acid. This wine has more residual showing on it than most other Pinots, not subtle by any means. Creamy body. A bit overpriced for what it is.

One of those rare times where night 1 was better than night 2 after breathing. Found it ultra smooth on first taste (rating 9), and developed some bitterness and heat 24 hrs later (maybe 8.2). $23

Clear and bright. Ruby red. Medium medium minus color intensity. On the nose, medium minus intensity. Red fruits. Tart cherries, red currants, cranberry. On the palate, medium minus body, tart, biting acidity, warming alcohol. Light tannins. Ok, not bad but nothing interesting about this wine.

The aroma of cherries hits the nose as soon as the bottle is opened. Rich, smoky oakiness hits the palate as soon as it flows over the tongue. Just the right amount of acidity and mild tannins.
