Old Vine Cuvée. Medium purple in color. Initially barnyard funk, herbal-basil and blackberry notes in nose. Cherry-berry, plum, prune and wood flavors in mouth, moderate skin astringency, raspberry-blueberry water in aftertaste. Fairly tannic (faint black licorice flavor here) but bitterness is largely absent at first. 14.9% alcohol but doesn't taste hot. With time, a slight buttery note in nose. Nice fruit-forward Zin, cool climate, restrained even. Just a tad too much wood for me

Carmel dipped celery nose. Raspberry attack. Creamy mid palate, if a bit tart. Firm tannin but with gentle release.

Nose is soft cranberry and cotton candy. Has a smokey, Acidic (tart), and cranberry.
