Rutherford Dust Vineyards Zinfandel

This bottle has hung around a steak house in Omaha a bit, a bargain at $45, but still fantastic

PnP. Transparent medium red color. Fruity nose of strawberries and raspberries. Earthy, dusty wine with medium alcohol on the palate. Hints of tea as well. Lacks depth. Not sure if it’s over the hill or just not as good as other Neal wines.

PnP. Medium red color. Nose has dust, chocolate, and deep cherry fruit. Wine had Amarone characteristics and a lovely texture. I don’t think Neal makes a bad wine!

Does Neal make a bad wine?!?! This was great! 20 minutes open in the bottle. Nice dark red color. Dusty, rustic nose with prunes, tea, and maybe cannabis. Nice balance of spice, fruit, and earth on the palate. Very complex with a great texture. I was at 93 but the more I drink this the better it shows. Neal rocks!

Just enough kick, a little dryer than expected, but very good.

2013. Medium body zinfandel with nice berry aromas and flavors. Organic grapes.
