Unfiltered Napa County Chardonnay

Rich creamy texture vanilla butterscotch very well endowed with layers of spice and a firm underbelly of acidity. Caramel corn big but quite balanced. Long layered finish 45+ most excellent only natural yeast used all wines unfiltered simple winemaking not over handled. This is the wine that put them on the map aged in barrel for 16 months one of the secrets to making unfiltered wine that extra length in barrel. Red wine drinkers white could be all the oak

Stone fruit, some sweet cotton candy peachy "thingy", muted oak. Tastes smooth and fruit forward with integrated oak and smooth. Lovin' it.

Beurré, un peu lourd

Enjoyed one of my favorite California Chardonnays with Thanksgiving dinner.

Working on recipes for this delicious, unfiltered and complex Chardonnay from Napa Valley.

Oak and butter

Rich, balanced, sunny color, nice finish. Stood up well to grilled shrimp tacos.

Congratulatory splurge from Scnucks. $60/bottle. Good, but less expensive chards are just as good or better.
