The most interesting wine of the afternoon was from Bio-D guru N. Joly. Nose shows some honey, apricot from some botrytis. Taste close to dry with a exotic mineral finish

Jun 19th, 2016Had the 2010 this week in Boston. The 2012 is considerably ore vibrant and acidic. For what it is this is still rich! Acidic. Dark straw color. Love!

Jan 24th, 2015I reviewed this wine on 8/3/18 and little has changed. It is a glorious funky thing of incredible appeal. You either hate Joly’s wines or love them. You must experience them to join the conversation. @nancydwight @andrewschirmer

Oct 9th, 2018Looks oxidized but def not. Really interesting balance of fruit and not fruits. Honey, pear, and chamomile lead the charge. Missing some structural grace but a fascinating wine to think about with an array of food pairings. I’d kill to try this with uni.

Mar 3rd, 2018A favorite. Gorgeous gold color. Starts with a slightly viscous mouthfeel. Almost never use that term - "mouthfeel" - but it's actually apt, here. It's almost lightly syrupy, but not over sweet. Honey, peach, pear. Works it's way through some more savory notes before finishing in salt and minerality.
