Honeyed notes and peaches. Stone in the midpalate. Sweetness at the edges. A subtle, rounded wine. Whiff of marmalade

Tasted blind. Medium gold color. Crazy nose with notes of pineapple, tangerine, stones and some soil. Sweet pit fruit and amazing texture in the mouth. Guessed mid 80s Leflaive. Was happy being wrong with that guess. Fun wine.

This wine is so inconsistent but When you get a good bottle it can be outstanding. We got lucky, slightly maderized, honey suckle, good balance between acidity and sweetness. Vibrant after 22 years.

Ripe yellow Apple and pear. Minerality. Honey, butter, lemon, and wet stone. M+ acid. M body. Bit bitter on the front palate. Honeycomb, m+ finish and complexity.

Wow, complex, some toffee notes, funghi and wax on flavors, then on palate a lot of structure, high acidity, wax again in a very civilized 12.5% and a looong....looong finish

Nice to get this with a little age on it. Open for a couple days and could go on for many more days and still hold it together. Thanks for bringing this @Corkhoarder

Let this wine evolve - that's part of the magic. Reductive at first and then it morphs like a butterfly into a beautiful almost creamy expression of silky fruit.

Cleanest bottle of Coulée de Serrant I've had. Wish I'd had a chance to see it open up.
