Olema Wines
Sonoma County Pinot Noir
Sonoma County, California, USAI had the 2019 and it tasted just perfect for a Pinot from Sonoma County. Just the right amount of fruit throughout and a slightly dry finish with no detectable faults. It was delicious.

Not bad. Just on the verge of being ripe cherries. Simple but enjoyable.

Olema means coyote, as the label reads. The beginning has a slight underbelly of earth, swirl and the fruit comes forward. Not very diverse on the palate but forward on the dryness. Seems lighter bodied. Overall a Pinot noir miss if you are Pinot noir particular. Fine as a variant of table wine, less good for actual enjoyment of the wine.
