Medium ruby, the 2017 Once & Future Zinfandel Sodini Vineyard exhibits a wonderful freshness and is nowhere near the usually heavy style from other Californian regions. The nose displays well defined aromas of black plum, ripe strawberries, vanilla, chocolate, licorice and spice box. Full-bodied with good acidity and polished tannins, I can easily see this wine benefiting from a few more years in bottle. Drink now until 2027
