Remember the last time you had a bad port?

No. No, you don't. Because bad port is not a thing.

Deep dark plummy fruit, that good not-quite-cloying-sweetness, Sweet Mother... I'm very excited to drink it again over the next several days as it has a chance to open. I hope I need to revisit and bump the rating.

A good bit of fruit; less plum and raisin up front than the Quinta Das Carvalhas, and a wee bit thin on the initial finish. Still, an excellent LBV. Darker fruit flavors come on as it warms. Actually coats the mouth nicely in the end.
