Appearance: thick blackberry in the center and deep red garnet around the rim. Nose: Dark chocolate with cherry chunks, natural red cherry fruit leather, black raspberry, sweet cigar. Structure: a rush of acidity is followed by lush and delicate tannins. Palate: there’s a deep ness to it. The nose and palate aren’t that different and all the fruit and dark chocolate don’t seem over extracted or overripe in any way. This is solid stuff that can probably hang on for a couple more years.
