Hedonistic nose. Gamey peppery and seductive nose with some salty herbaceousnees along with darker and sweeter entry. More rounded than I thought for an 11. Robust mouthfeel, sure to improve over the next few years. Bit this is a wine to hold over the next 10 or so years without a doubt. @Shay A , Novotny opened this about 10 minutes after you left. It was good, but I was expecting a lot more from a Howell Mountain PS!

Medium body. Nice balance and restraint. Blue fruit and light tannins. Less intense than most HM Syrahs I've had, but really nice. No -11 green. Revising up to 9.4 after 2 more hours of air. Awesome in the long haul.
