Better after decanting, but pretty phenomenal for the price even early on. Cherry, plum, leather and a little bit of smoke with grippy tannins and slight acidity. Thinner than I was expecting, but my guess is that in a blind tasting, no one would believe that this bottle was $6.99!

Definitely needed to breathe. Still strong on the palate with minerality and tannins.
