On the nose flowers, strawberries and oak. Medium bodied and fruit forward, light tannins, a bit cough syrupy. Got better the second day and showed some structure, but overall too much alcohol and woody.

Prefer Barbera a little more plush, the tannins and alcohol stand out first and foremost on this and the linger is both alcohol and tannins as well
