Simple. Maybe because it was after several bottles, but not a lot of wow factor. Don't let this detour you from tasting it for yourself.

Don't let the name fool you, for a predominant Zinfandel blend, there aren't a lot of the jammy characteristics, however the different wines blend together to create a smooth silky wine. It goes down way too easily. Definitely recommend.

They seem to have overcome a difficult vintage with this one. Long, smooth tannin structure and blueberry, toffee and the slightest hint of tobacco on the palate.
