Sancerre Sauvignon Blanc

This is a lovely textbook Sancerre with high acidity, steely minerality and a beautiful array of fruit from green apple, lemon and pear to gooseberry, cut grass and wet stone. Fine balance of fruit and acidity and long on the finish

Pale yellow. Perfumed nose - lemongrass, honeysuckle. Taste profile was tart, green apple, pineapple and floral.

Have had this before and enjoyed a lot more, but still a solid wine and something I’d drink more of. Gooseberry, grapefruit then tending to pineapple, papaya with grassiness and herbaceous touches in toe. Acidity not as crisp as should be for 16s. Slight phenolics here too

Light straw with citrus and earthy herb aromas. On the palate clean, crisp flavors of sour apple, grapefruit and white flesh fruits with vivid acidity and underlying sweetness, but dry on the finish that lingered nicely ending with some mineral tones. Tasting Sample.

Always a classic!

Sauvignon Blanc & I have a dysfunctional relationship...so 8.9 is pretty good from me. Lemon, grapefruit, light honey, medium plus acidity that adds to the finish.

Liked this!! From wine story for around 35, brought to tanoshi with the bbb. Sadly we had to chug towards the end since we had a bottle of sake beforehand but I think it was really drinkable alone. Classic sancserre, stone fruity, lemon, apple, minerals 💖
