Patricia Green Cellars
Freedom Hill Willamette Valley Pinot Noir
medium reddish purple, medium tears; cherry, raspberry, vanilla, hints of smoke and cloves; red fruit, bitter chocolate, long finish; medium body, high acidity, light tannins, 13.9% ABV; this is the biggest production and lowest priced of all the winery's vineyard designates, real bargain from a classic Willamette Valley vineyard; $37

Jul 8th, 2020Bold and fruity. Very enjoyable and not overwhelming. Nice compliment to our surf and turf dinner.

Sep 8th, 20182016v. Deep violet color. Red fruit, cherry cola, and a little bit of earth on the palette. The fruit has some ripeness, which adds body, but a pleasant acidity is preserved (maybe from the "evening offshore breezes"?). 13.9%

Jul 16th, 2018Bold and big for an Oregon Pinot. Plenty of heft but very well balanced. Finely structured with loads of berries, plums and spice on the finish. Glad I found this gem.
