1995: Deep color. Impact of fruit less dynamic. Traditional Hermitage dna sequencing of flavor, with the bretty sweaty leather that only truly wears well on a Rhone. Not on par with the great vintages, yet this remains a label to hold one's respectful attention.

Balanced and nuanced without being timid or weak. Great wine just starting to hit its stride. Took awhile to really open up.
