The first winery I bought direct from, and still doing so. They go low on the ABV, 13.2 here. Low tannin, lightly dry, dried cherries and a hint of smoke. Doesn't overwhelm you, but makes you smile.

Drank side by side with the 2010 Scallop Shelf and this one is certainly the masculine one. Dark fruit, earthy with abundant dry herbs, brush and a big, round profile. Not your average Pinot.
