Had a bottle at an expensive Cantonese restaurant on the Gold Coast. There wasn’t a wine on the list under $100! The markup on this Wine List was excessive. You could buy a bottle of this at Dan Murphy’s for $45. On the Wine List it was $168 - tantamount to price gouging. The wine itself drank to the bottle shop price. Bright red fruits, fresh with no great complexity. See previous note to see the various vineyards from which it was sourced. The wine list said 2021 which I ordered but out came the 2018. The 21 was unavailable apparently - a pity as the 21 was all Tasmanian fruit. Well made but restaurant experience spoiled it for us.

This is Penfolds best expression for Pinot Noir being made from fruit sourced in the Adelaide Hills, Henty and Tasmania. Just had a glass with the entree. Mid crimson in colour with a tawny brown rim. Aromas and flavours in the stewed red fruit spectrum. Soft tannins - drinking well now.
