Bright ruby red. Almost floral notes of dark cherries and mulberries, alongside lightly toasted vanilla and caramel. Starts off with a nice loose steely note, followed by a zing of acidity paired with bucolic but not overpowering tannins. Finish is a bit sharp, might do well with some more air / age.
