2006 vintage. Some delicate rich ripe red fruit and burnt wood on nose. Fair acid, dried flower petals, cedar, oak, pine tar. Baking spice, charred oak slight dark fruit and oak tannins. Basically, since this sees 24 months in heavily toasted new oak, it has lots of flavor notes from the barrels. Perhaps too much.
