Love me some Mendocino County Pinot Noir. Damp forest floor, pennyroyal, baked cherries. A low intervention wine from own rooted vines. I was going to pour the rest of this wine out after being forgetful and leaving it out for 4 days, but it was still so fresh and gorgeous that I had to pour myself the last glass to celebrate the serendipity and solid winemaking.
