I found this wine in a tiny wineshop in Rome
Old vintage of a unique wine from the hills around Rome
Sauvignon grown on a highplains influenced by some far sea winds too.
Silex in the soil apparently

I had always told Matteo Ceracchi, the winemakers, about the similarly made Hunter semillons, and he had no idea what I was talking about.
Chances are i find this 12yo wine on a shelf and i could not leave it there.
The wine is sensational, like an aged hunter semillon, it is toasty and with obviously a good amout of freshness
Amazing golden, bright colour
