Everything I want from a Vermentino. Bright citrus with floral and herbal aromas. Crisp acid but with just that little extra bit of texture. Textbook. Killer pairing with sous vide octopus and chorizo.

Splendid Sardinian #vermentino - crisp, green apple and citrus touches with a touch of saltiness which I imagine would pair very well with seafood but also a nice risotto with Parmesan sauce. We were fortunate to enjoy this reasonably priced bottle in a restaurant in Milan.
