Pieropan
Calvarino Soave Garganega Trebbiano
This Soave Classico has quite a yellow-gold color in the glass. The nose has aromas of apricot, Meyer lemon and minerals, but with an overriding earthiness to it. The palate delivers great minerality, apricot and lemon zest in the full mouthfeel. Acidity zings and leaves its calling card on the lengthy finish.

May 1st, 2021If I look tired, well who isn’t tired this year has been a million years long which is probably why I’ve wanted lively wines, but ones with intellect. Like the people that know how to have funny energy discussing serious things...is this the John Oliver of wine? It banters of both salted dried peach and bushes encountered on a Midwest hike and lemon conserve. It’s fresh but deep. Like the discourse I’d like to have with like minds.
