Was unfamiliar with the producer. Drank at Tasting Group. Didn’t have the oxidation questions I saw in another post. Super classic, dense fruit, pyrazine’y,. Was shocked at how fresh it was.

Apr 13th, 2019Not world changing, but the poster child for aging inexpensive wines. Still true to it's spicy and herbal cab franc roots, but wrapped in silky tobacco and Earth and just the lightest touch of oxidation. Sure, it'd be better with a little more heft, but no one's complaining with Wednesday night dinner

1 person found it helpfulJun 7th, 2018Badass value. After a 30 min decant, all the rhythms of aged can franc showed up. A nose of roasted herbs, pine needles, and muted candied raspberry. The palate showed damn good acid. $16 retail. Picked up at K&L Hollywood after the bitter sweet drop off of my DRC GE for auction.
