To celebrate our 2-yr wedding anniversary while in Alaska, we had 5-course dinner at one of the premier spots in the state, which just so happened to be at our resort (at the top of the mountain). A Wine Spectator recognized restaurant with an incredible wine list!
Stark contrast between the last wine and this. Much more flint/rock, white flower, almond shavings on the nose. Higher viscosity on the palate, and it had a great texture. Lingering finish.

Pretty cool to drink this seeing how it was PYCM's 1st vintage. Remarkably nervy and NO signs of premox, great Meyer lemon and Bartlett pear meld with persistent minerality.

Citrus and stony acidic structure. So fresh, even at its advanced age. Perfect with a 19" Snake River brown trout caught hours before. Thanks again Matt C and the entire team of guides, somms, chefs and hosts @SouthForkLodge, Idaho!
