Terrific showing. Nose is stunning and expressive. Dried and fresh roses. Black and red cherry. Divinely pure. Palate is lacey and ethereal with sweet black cherry fruit and tremendous sweet fruit in the tannins and on the finish. Soft, precise, sweet and intense like only Volnay can be. Opulent yet chiseled. Awesome balance and purity. Almost a 9.5.
