Attractive and forward nose that is full of perfumed wood spice, full red fruits , truffle and rich soil, vanilla oak comes through pretty strong but is well integrated and there is a very attractive cherry and rose petal essence.
Palate has forward slightly sappy acidity but rounds out on the mid palate and is quite lovely but will benefit a tomato sauce.

Bold up front - moderate on finish- strong black pepper and currant with a tobacco twist. Nice color. Would go nicely with steak dinner.
