Venezia Giulia Ribolla Gialla Orange

Hazy orange. Shy but inviting nose of citrus rind and baked quince. Full palate or orange rind, quince, cinnamon bark, and terra cotta. Light tannins. Medium acidity. Longish finish continues the palate. An excellent intro to the traditional NE Italian/Croatian orange style in the signature variety. Unfiltered and finished in a combination of barriques and amphorae, this "baby Gravner" is at home anywhere you'd take a midweight white or lighter red. Rich cream sauces are a particular match. Drink now through 2025.
