Earthy, dirty, but very accessible. Lots of acidity and phenolic ripeness. According to Chris, New Zealand benefits from the ozone hole to mature grapes without too much sugar. Roaring forties blows air too prevent fungi etc.

Mar 6th, 2015This Sauvignon tastes precisely like one; no surprises. But it is a rather good one; it can be bought knowing it will be a good glass of Sauvignon. I suggest it for a weeknight, with a light meal.
