Used to be better or we're drinking better wines now. Medium fruit, fairly balanced but a bit too tannic for a Pinot...good price at Costco...

Smell: oak, spices, great color. Taste: left to be desired, maybe better if opened. Hint of licorice at the end

A decent California Pinot for the price, ruby red colour with a nose of cherry cola, violets and a hint of forest floor. The palate is balanced, lighter acidity and mouth feel with flavours of bell pepper, raspberry and a hint of cocoa. Paired with a grilled salmon in a blood orange, caper and scallion glaze.
