This Willamette Valley Pinot Noir is drinking well after aging for the past ~5 years. Begins with exceedingly earthy aromas of forest floor, mushroom & notes of dried cherry. Once allowed to decant (1+ hour) the fruit becomes more apparent on the nose & the palate wirh cherry & pomegranate flavors along with some surprisingly grippy tannins & a cola note on a relatively quick finish. Paired wonderfully with a charcuterie & cheese board! ($16) [7/29/21]

Taste of wet mushroom, berries, vivid acidity, zesty, and a bit stringy note. Quite average Pinot while the acidity and alcohol note are a bit too strong for me.

Sep 8th, 2018Medium balance, described as earthy but I'd like a little more flavor of the soil. Respectable but not amazing.
