Okay friends, its time for the next wine! No, I did not drink the entire bottle of Double Diamond. I had one glass for the review. Now I am trying one glass of Prime 2011 from Coombsville Nappa Valley. The cork is perfect. The color is a purple hue at dusk. The legs are long and thick - seven seconds. The bouquet is ripe plumb and sweet hints of peppermint. The initial palate is very nice. I taste hints of blueberry and believe it or not, bananas. The finish leaves hints of lemons and chocolate if you can believe it. This is a great wine to have as the second wine after a bottle of Double Diamond ! Just kidding!!!! Seriously, it is not bad, but I would not want it to be the initial wine of the evening. No, only one glass of Black Diamond - I promise. I know what you are thinking. Im just crazy about wine and we don't have enough laughter in our lives!!!! So relax, smile, and drink wine! See my previous rating... I did rate this after two glasses of BD!

Fantastic cab! Deep dark inky ruby red color with good bramble fruit and a smooth finish with firm tannins and nice pepper notes. Full bodied. Great with food, especially a good steak.
