Much more refined than I had anticipated given its provenance and alcohol content. Smooth, deep, and rich with a lovely structure balanced on a knife’s edge of fruit and acidity. Makes me want to drink more New World wines!

Purple black in color. Hints of musty basement on the nose upon opening. Blew off to reveal lavender, blackberry and a smokiness. Blackberry, spice and hints of leather. Long, plush finish.

Superb. Deep red and black berries, smooth and silky on the palate. Fantastic on it's own and great with a nice steak.
